K-Zan aka Manuel Hidalgo - Lille, France
orn in France in 1980, Manuel Gomez (aka K-Zan) spent the past 10 years DJing under the name Dj Gomez. During this period he was a resident & guest in many spots around the globe, but also as a radio host for the famous underground house show So Deep Radio on Lille-based RPL99FM .
In 2013, coinciding with his first release, he dropped his Dj Gomez moniker for his new artist name K-Zan. The past year has seen his name rising up on a number of labels, including Vynkel House, 7teen Records, Abracadabra and Chilling Grooves Music,Bounce House Recordings etc ... .
In 2014 he started to work as co-leader of the french label U-Man Records with Kris R & Will Wee
In 2015 he joined the british radio House Heads Radio for a new version of So Deep Radioshow every tuesday 8 to 10 (GMT)
Behind the decks K-Zan plays Deep or Tech House , but also classics of electronic music or from the disco funk period .
Techno is a form of electronic dance music that emerged in Detroit. Techno artist are using sequencers, synths, drum machines, sfx units, samplers and midi controllers to create unique rhythmic patterns alternating with bridges, atmospheric pasages and melodic and rhythmic build-ups. Techno is one of the genres, which is due to the musical matter absolutely unabused by the music industry. Techno is true heart of music in general.
